Classes

Our Girls 6-8 year old classes are designed on teaching Level 1 gymnastics skills and concepts while introducing additional skills that are more challenging. Strength and flexibility are introduced and reinforced at this level.

The purpose for each class is to help your daughter learn new drills and improve her technique on the skills she already performs. Our goals remain the same for these classes: that your daughter associates fitness with fun and keeps her excited about fitness and gymnastics challenges. Your daughter will be encouraged to try new skills and drills, increasing her self-confidence in the process.

Ninja/Parkour - Juniors

Boys ages 5 to 11

Ninja/Parkour is a new sport that embodies discipline, focused energy, strength, speed, courage and skill. It's fun and it improves physical fitness and athleticism for anyone that participates. We love this sport for these reasons - it is an outstanding physical activity with no limits as to what children can accomplish. Our Ninja/Parkour classes are taught in a specific sequence where children must learn the basics before learning more difficult skills. Our classes are divided in to Level 1 (Green), Level 2 (Orange) and Level 3 (Red). Your child will wear the wrist band of their level. Each color signifies what skills they are safe to perform in class and in our open gym time.

Girls USAG Development Team (Level 3-10 & Elite)

OUR TEAM MISSION STATEMENT - CHARACTER FIRST. CHAMPIONS FOREVER.

At Aerials we believe a gymnasts' character is more important than her medals. But we also believe that anything worth doing is worth doing well! We strive to provide the highest level of training in a positive, encouraging environment where each gymnast feels safe, and they feel valued for their efforts.

OUR TEAMS:

We compete in the following USA Gymnastics Development levels: Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Level 7, Level 8, Level 9, Level 10 and Elite. We have a long history of being among the best teams in Colorado since 1983.

*Please call our front desk to ask about the monthly tuition for each team level. (719) 260-1893

OUR METHOD:

Aerials has a well-earned reputation for winning, but we didn’t earn it with the attitude that we will do anything to win. Our success comes from our method: we work hard and we have fun. Our program is one of the country’s leaders when it comes to teaching through a series of skill progression in a positive environment. We never encourage our gymnasts to attempt a new skill until her coach has the utmost confidence that she has mastered all the progressive steps leading up to it. The process can sometimes be time-consuming but the end result is well worth the method and it is the key to our enduring success.

SAFE SPORT:

We adhere to and enforce the US Center for Safe Sport policies and procedures in every program within Aerials. This means that our coaches are never allowed one-on-one time with any gymnast in our program. All interactions between every gymnast and their coach is done as a group or with parental involvement.

OUR COACHES:

We take great pride in our coaching staff at Aerials Gymnastics. Our coaches are Professional Members of USA Gymnastics and continually receive educateoion on the most current techniques by owners Tom and Lori Forster. Tom and Lori have achieved "Master of Sport", the highest level of coaching gymnastics. Tom has also been a Women's National Team Staff member for USA Gymnastics since 2008, and was the Women's National Team Coordinator from 2018 to 2021 where he lead the national team in multiple World Championships and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Elite, Level 10, Level 9:  Kathy Vigil, Jason Baits, Zac Baits and Brittney Allen

Level 9, Level 8, Level 7, Level 5:  Zac Baits, Brittney Allen and Heather Morgan

Level 5, Level 4: Heather Morgan and Cora Petersen

Level 3: Heahter Morgan

OUR FACILITY:

Aerials has one of the most advanced training facilities in North America -- designed by owner Tom Forster. Tom combined the best ideas from training centers he visited all over the world with some of his own groundbreaking training ideas. Continually maintaining and improving our equipment allows us to provide the safest training environment possible.

OUR PARENTS GROUP:

The Aerials Booster Club is a not-for-profit 5013C organization registered with the state of Colorado (C1988). Aerials' team parents are devoted to helping the program’s continued success and work fundraising events to help offset the expenses of competitive gymnastics. Aerials hosts as many as five meets a year, made successful with the support of the Aerials parents volunteering their time to operate these competitions.

Girls USAG Xcel Team (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum, Sapphire)

OUR TEAM MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide gymnastics team training in a positive, encouraging culture, with a schedule that allows the athletes to participate in other sports and activities.

OUR TEAMS:

We compete in the following USA Gymnastics Xcel levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Sapphire.

*Please call our front desk to ask about the monthly tuition for each Xcel level. (719) 260-1893

OUR METHOD:

We teach advanced gymnastic skills in the proper progressions for safety and mastery. We do not move on with a skill if a gymnast cannot safely master all the steps in the progression. If a gymnast struggles with a skill she has already learned we go back to the progressions and start over. It is time consuming, it can be frustrating, and it is more difficult but this is the core of our success and the safest way to advance.

OUR COACHES:

All of our coaches are Professional Members of USA Gymnastics which means they have been back ground checked and passed the USA Safety Certification Test for gymnastics coaches. They are led by owner and USA Gymnastics National Staff Member Tom Forster. Tom has over thirty years of coaching experience and is in charge of training the coaches and keeping them informed of all the newest technqiues and procedures for coaching competitive gymnasts.

Xcel Team Director:  Cora Petersen

OUR FACILITY:

Aerials has one of the most advanced training facilities in North America. Designed by owner Tom Forster (who also designed the Women's Olympic Training Center in Houston, TX). Tom combined the best ideas from training centers he has visited all over the world and combined them with some of his own training ideas. Aerials continually invests in the improvement of their equipment each year to provide the safest training situation possible.
