Winter Skills Camp
DATES: December 27-29 Aerials is holding a SKILLS CAMP for girls in our program, ages 6-14.
COST: The cost is $180 until December 10. The cost goes to $200 after December 10. You will receive a gift certificate you can use as a stocking stuffer.
TIME: The camp goes from 11:00am - 2:30pm each day. Bring your sack lunch and water bottle.
WHAT IS IT? This is a great Christmas gift for your gymnast! Our top coaches are working the camp, including owner and Women's Olympic Team Director, Tom Forster. This will be an exciting opportunity to work new skills with advanced coaches with the goal of having fun learning!
Tom is the co-owner of Aerials Gymnastics and has been coaching since 1980. Tom, together with his wife Lori, opened Aerials in 1983. Together they coached numerous national team members and competed athletes in multiple World Championships and the 1996 Olympic Trials. Tom was hired by USA Gymnastics in 2018 to be the Women's High Performance Director and lead the women's silver medal Olympic team in Tokyo.
Kathy has been coaching since 1981 - 33 of those years at Aerials. She has coached everything from preschool classes to the Elite level. "I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to coach numerous State and Regional champions and several Junior Olympic National champions. Along the way I’ve helped 30+ gymnasts achieve their dream of getting a college scholarship. Gymnastics has been my passion since I was a teenager and that continues today!"
Zac has been coaching at Aerials since 1996. He has coached every level from preschool classes through Level 10. "Gymnastics runs in my family. I have three brothers that are coaches and our mother was a judge. During my coaching career I have had numerous state, regional and national medalists and champions." Zac was named Colorado Compulsory Coach of the Year in 2017.
Heather has been coaching gymnastics since 2001 - 18 of those years at Aerials. She has coached everything from preschool classes to Level 10 in the Junior Olympic program. "I have coached many Level 3, 4, and 5 state champions during my career, and have won multiple team state championships at these Levels. I fell in love with the sport at the age of 10 and started coaching as soon as I was able. Coaching gymnastics has become my career, but more importantly my passion. My favorite event to coach is bars, but I love all of them."
Jessica has been coaching at Aerials since 2014 and was of our most decorated Xcel gymnasts when she competed. She has coached at many levels for Aerials from Mom and Me classes up to our Diamond teams. Jessica has been one of our standout compulsory coaches winning many state titles at Level 3, 4 and 5. "I started gymnastics at age two and love being a positive influence in the lives of the girls I coach. Gymnastics builds character and develops a healthy mindset for life."
